Hi all!
We recently exhibited our large-scale dinosaurs at this year's Kickstart Fest this past Saturday. And even though it was rainy and blustery, a good amount of people still came out in spite of that; Brooklynites are tenacious!
We had a lot of fun getting to meet you all, and totally want to thank you for stopping by!
However, we had EVEN MORE FUN hosting our speed contests, challenging individuals and teams to see who could assemble one of our 1/2" HDPE Pterodactyls the fastest.
Even with the not-so-great weather, we had about 15 contestants, and at one point during the day rivalry between teams became quite competitive!
The winners of the contest will be notified via email later today, but the best time out of all the entries was a crazy 1 minute and 9 seconds for a team, and 1 minute and 23 seconds for an individual!
Impressive!
The fastest team won a 1/4" Velociraptor, and the fastest individual won a 1/2" Pterodactyl! We also gave away several of our Komatex T-Rexes and Pterodactyls to participants :)
